“DoX – Der Dokumentarfilm im BR” is a weekly program by Bayerischer Rundfunk that presents award-winning documentaries from around the world. Every week, exciting, entertaining and challenging films are shown that deal with international, national and local topics. The selection ranges from big stories and portraits of people to thought-provoking microcosms. The program is characterized by its diversity and the high quality of the films shown.
The redesign of the DoX opener was about making the brand fresher, more memorable and visually more independent. Instead of focusing mainly on movie scenes as before, a new, timeless approach was developed. Through strong typography, combined with powerful, emotional terms and gripping images, the opener creates a new kind of independence. It reflects the diversity of BR documentaries and creates an aesthetic, modern and striking identity.
Dox remains visually impressive and authentic – a cinematic experience that stands out.
