Arne Tympe is an award-winning creative who has dedicated his life to motion design and direction.
He was born in Kiel, Germany and grew up in USA and Germany. Besides his mother tongue, he fluently speaks English, additionally understands basics in French and Spanish. In 1996, he completed his studies in communication design with a focus on new media at Fachhochschule Mainz.
After working as a freelancer for advertising agencies such as Select Koblenz, he went to ProSieben Media AG Munich as on air designer in 1997. In 2000 he became head of on air for Sun TV at Entertainment Factory in Pullach. Since 2002, Arne Tympe is a self-employed director and designer. Furthermore, in 2003 he was temporary head of on air promotion at Universal Studios Networks Germany, in 2004 responsible for the design of The History Channel, which was launched in Germany that year, and from 2007 to 2009 he was co-founder and managing director of the internationally operating branding agency Luxlotusliner GmbH in Munich.
Arne Tympe has worked for numerous national and international TV-clients as well as commercial clients: ARTE, ProSiebenSat.1 Media Group, BR, ZDF, ORF, SF, Egyptian State TV, Nova TV Kroatien, Polsat, TRK Ukraine, Sport1, 13th Street, Disney XD, Tele5, SciFi, The History Channel, SunTV, Cosmopolitan, Casmir, Monteil, Davidoff and BMW.
He is identified with works such as: TV Total Logo- and Formatdesign, Blondes Gift Opening, Cosmopolitan Cinema Spot, Egypt News Redesign, Nova TV Croatia Channel Redesign, TRK Ukraine Channel Redesign, Polsat News Channel Branding, Sport1 Channel Branding, ORF Ski World Championship Schladming Design und ZDF Champions League Design.
Arne Tympes work was rewarded numerous prizes such as Promax, BDA and Eyes and Ears of Europe.
His strengths lie in the development of logos and brands, concept, design, shooting (film and photo), production and VFX. Due to his experience in the fields of advertisement and TV-Design, he has deeper understanding of design application in a wide variation of media.
His preferred working tools are Adobe Creative Suite – here especially After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere -, Final Cut and Cinema 4D.
Based on his network working approach, Arne Tympe can handle projects of various sizes in flexible teams with the appropriate specialists. These can be: TV commercials, corporate designs, brand development, TV channel designs, TV format designs and VFX.
